Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end played 17 seasons with the National Football League. One of America's top tight ends, he is the holder of an NFL record for most receiving yards among any tight end. He is as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Since the start of the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez is a regular in FOX NFL KICKOFF, the FOX's one-hour NFL pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFL Sunday, which airs each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for Atlanta Falcons to run for two seasons and $14 million on March 15 2013. The signing was in spite of having stated that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire at the end of 2013 NFL season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season marked his final as NFL leading receiver in yards.
